This is a permanent shade that is buildable when dry to be nearly opaque, but it is even smoother and more intense when used wet.

The MAC Naval Blue Pigment is a deep navy blue with a subtle amount of purple to it. However, using it wet gave it a liquid metal appearance that was really stunning. It is a permanent shade and had amazing pigmentation even when applied dry. The MAC Silver Fog Pigment is a platinum silver with an intense metallic finish. It was sheerer when applied dry although it could be built but, but the sheen was more intense when used wet. This limited edition shade is smooth, silky and works well both dry and wet. The MAC Warm Snow Pigment is a pearly white with a slight pink to it. The opening is fairly small, but when I did use a brush to apply directly from the bottle, I didn’t have any issues picking up product. I’m still figuring out how to best use pigments, but because I prefer to use these wet, I tend to tap out a little onto my hand and swirl it with a wet brush rather than put the brush directly in the bottle. When you take that out there’s a small opening. The individual packaging of the MAC Irresistibly Charming Pigments and Glitter in Blue is a cap that screws off and has a little stopper underneath. This set really says winter wonderland to me! I have the MAC Irresistibly Charming Pigments and Glitter in Blue which contains a white pigment, a silver pigment and a blue pigment along with a blue glitter. Each sets contains 3 pigments and a glitter (not safe for eye use) in a little black case that closure with an elastic band and has a metallic blue, turquoise and purple stripe, which is also found on the cap of the pigments and glitters. This year the sets include three different colour families: Gold, Purple, and Blue. MAC pigment sets are an incredible value because you get smaller sizes of a product you are unlikely to ever finish anyway. Especially when I caught a look online of the MAC holiday collection which includes the MAC Irresistibly Charming Pigments and Glitter in Blue*. I’m not sure what it is that makes it possible for pigments to have a depth and complexity that might just win me over. However, even I had to admit–there are some stunning pigments. I was always a little skeptical of pigments, because there are some really beautiful eyeshadows out there without the mess and hassle of using a bunch of loose powder.
